Introduction
The library contributes significantly to the development of a research plan by offering top-notch materials and services. In order to provide high-caliber research results, the liaison librarian supports the researchers by guiding them and providing them with trustworthy resources.
The "Reference and Research Support Services" at the National Medical Library (NML) at UAE University in Al Ain are constantly being improved to improve the research output, leading to a significant increase in the visibility of the library services to support researchers at every stage of the research process.
Objectives:
To provide the guidance and the instructions for the individual and groups to support the research and reference services.
To promote the reference services and information literacy to the library’s users to enable the full access to variety of the resources that will help them in their academic study and career.
To support all stages of the research by providing the assistance for the researchers on their searching plan and to afford them with the best possible resources they need.
To enhance the collaboration between the librarians and the research community.
To provide achievable research strategies to assure the quality of the research.
