Boost your research visibility in Scopus: Update your author profile and add missing documents in Scopus

About Scopus

Scopus abstract and citation database provides peer-reviewed information and bibliometric measures to students, researchers and educational institutions worldwide. With a large index of 75 million items including a comprehensive coverage of the field of medicine and health sciences, the database is considered to be a standard source for metrics such as no. of citations, journal impact factors and h-index.

Scopus is also the main source for citation and research productivity measures for university world ranking systems like QS and THE Times Higher Education where up to 36% of the total ranking (THE) is a calculation of citations and number of publications in Scopus (see the full metric calculation for "THE" HERE).

Updated and correct author profiles in Scopus is therefore directly connected to individual and institutional bibliometric output and ranking success.Missing citations, multiple profiles or author name variations are examples of "minor" errors that can have a large impact on individual bibliometric profiles as well as universities research output in Scopus.
